Network Solutions
Switching, routing, firewalls and enterprise Wi-Fi designed around how your people and systems actually use the network.
A good network is one nobody in the office has to think about.
Office networks now carry far more than laptops. Video calls, cameras, door controllers, meeting room systems and cloud applications all compete for the same links. When the network is designed as an afterthought, the symptoms show up everywhere: dropped calls, slow Wi-Fi in the boardroom, cameras that stop recording.
We start with what needs to connect, where, and how much it matters when it stops. From that we design the switching, segmentation, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, then configure, test and document it so the next person to look at it can understand it.
Four areas of work, each designed, delivered and documented to the same standard.
The wired core of the network, sized for devices, PoE and growth.
Wireless planned from coverage and capacity, not by counting ceilings.
Connectivity that keeps working when one link does not.
Visibility and control over what is on the network.
Every project follows the XTSURE Assurance Lifecycle. For this service, it runs in four stages.
We map users, devices, applications and sites, review existing equipment and ISP links, and identify where the current network is failing or at risk.
Topology, VLAN and IP plan, Wi-Fi design, firewall policy outline and failover approach, with equipment options and the reasoning behind each.
Configuration built and reviewed before installation, then deployed in planned stages to keep disruption to a minimum.
Failover triggered, Wi-Fi validated on site, throughput checked, and every setting recorded in the network documentation.
Documentation is part of the work, not an extra. Every item below is handed over in an organised pack your team can use for years.

We recommend equipment to suit the requirement, the budget and who will manage it. Where you already have a preferred platform, we can design and configure around it.
Two internet connections from different providers, ideally on separate physical routes into the building, connected to a firewall or SD-WAN device that moves traffic automatically if one fails. We test failover before handover, rather than assuming it works.
The usual causes are too few access points for the number of people, poor channel planning, interference, or client devices holding on to a distant access point. A wireless survey shows which of these applies before you spend money on more hardware.
Tell us what you are working on. We will ask the right questions, look at what exists today, and come back with a clear recommendation.
